Check for Windows Updates Shortcut contains a shortcut to open Windows Updates and automatically check for Updates. You can also create the shortcut manually, as explained in our tutorial.

Download 'Automatically Check for Windows Updates Shortcut.'

Extract Check for updates.Lnk from the zip file and copy and paste it anywhere you want. Most people will use the Desktop.

You can also customize your shortcut with a different icon by right-clicking on the new shortcut and click Properties, and then click on Change icon.

You can also right-click and pin to the taskbar or start menu.
