Avira Antivir Virus Definition File Update, or the Fusebundle Generator, allows you to update your Avira products by downloading all the definitions or incrementally. Hence, you always have the latest definitions.

There are two choices to update your Avira products.

1: Fusebundle Generator will download the latest definition files. You only need to download it once. It opens a command-prompt and downloads the latest definitions for you. With Fusebundle Generator, you can update incrementally, as needed, without repeatedly downloading the latest definitions. This way, you will always have an entire update archive. It is a small download, at around 800 KB. Extract the files and run "fusebundle.exe."

2: Definition File Update contains all the latest updates in a much larger download, over 180 MB. Extract all the files in vdf_fusebundle.zip and point to that folder from the update in Avira.
