LG's 55-inch curved OLED TV arrives in Korea this June for $13,500, US in July (UPDATE)

Update: Adding to the UK and China, LG has announced US availability for their new Curved OLED HDTV, which is the first of its kind to reach the US. LG’s 55-inch class model is going on sale starting today at select Best Buy locations. You will need $15,000.

Engadget has word that LG sent them the English press release regarding the new 55" Curved OLED TV which confirms pre-orders start today at more than 1,400 retail locations with a price of 15 million Korean won ($13,500), a healthy bump over the standard version's $10K MSRP. Release dates and pricing for non-Korean markets are coming "in the months ahead," check after the break to read all the details first hand.
