SmartRoam Pte Ltd. has released a new app for Android called ChatTime, the app is available for free at Google Play or at the Apple Appstore. The app allows users to make high-quality international voice calls to family and friends without needing Wi-Fi or 3G/LTE.
In a Press Release about the launch of the new Android app, Ravi Namboori, CTO at SmartRoam and developer of the ChatTime application says, "Our new Android app fully maintains the ChatTime reputation among users in providing top-notch voice quality and user convenience, making it the most comprehensive calling application for Android phones in terms of user experience, reliability and cost saving."
ChatTime is NOT a VOIP calling app, compared to Skype, Viber and all other VoIP apps, ChatTime calls are crisp and crystal-clear without annoying voice delays, echoes or distortion. No Wi-Fi or 3G/LTE data connection is required, so unlike VoIP apps that only let you call people who are also using their app, experience the freedom to call anyone even if they are not using ChatTime.
The potential cost per call saving is one thing, but the thing that really appeals to me about this is the fact that you can call anyone, where on other services you are limited to only people that are using the same app.
