TurboTax goes down on the eve of tax deadline day

So are you ready for tax day 2013? I hope that you weren't trying to get last minute filing done last night on TurboTax, since they they were experiencing some issues with their site.

They posted a message on their Twitter account stating that: "We're having problems with TurboTax online. We're in process bringing back the experience u expect. Updates 2 follow."

Luckily they were back up and running as of early this morning and anyone still having problems were directed to "please try closing their browser and go back to turbotax.com in a fresh window."

I kept reading through some of the posts, and found one that made me laugh, "Twas the night before #Tax Day when all through the house not a creature was stirring except for your mouse", I am sure the people experiencing the stress of not being able to log in were not as amused. No word on what the cause of the outage was at this time.

I know for myself that waiting until the last moment never works out, and I always get filed as soon as I get my W2 stubs back.
