Foxconn hiring freeze lifted to get ready for "iPhone 5s" production?

Bloomberg is reporting that Foxconn is now hiring which we can assume means they are getting ready for production on the next iPhone while maintaining iPhone 5 production. This follows up on a hiring freeze in place since February. Carolyn Wu, a Beijing-based spokeswoman for Apple, declined to comment, naturally as Apple is known for being tight lipped and their suppliers and employees under strict NDA’s.

The rumors of what the next iPhone will have are everywhere from the name (iPhone 5s) to other options (fingerprint scanner) and included apps.

Should be fun to watch as most of this is speculation and that speculation comes with worries that they might have some issues with assembly due to so many changes affecting production. While we can only guess, we still stick to an expected release of September and believe Jobs may have left behind a roadmap for the next couple of iPhones releases. Early speculation is they will need to produce roughly 4 million phones and 10% more for demonstrations and display.
