MediaPortal turns your PC into a very advanced Multi MediaCenter/HTPC.

It allows you to listen to your favorite music & radio, watch your videos and DVDs, view, schedule, record live TV, and much more. You get Media Portal for free/nothing/nada; best of all, it is Open Source. This means anyone can help develop a Media Portal or tweak it to suit their needs.

MediaPortal also allows you to record, watch, and timeshift Live TV, record videos, and listen to your favorite radio stations (local radio stations using the FM tuner of your capture card). It can also play any movie your PC has a codec for (DivX, MPEG, Matroska, etc.) and all your movies will be stored in the Media Portals video database. It includes support for multiple tuners and an advanced TV Guide based on XMLTV.
