CPU-Z is a free utility from CPUID that provides detailed information about your computer's hardware, particularly focusing on the CPU (Central Processing Unit) but with so much more. This is the go-to tool for enthusiasts, overclockers, and IT professionals who need to gather accurate system information.
CPU-Z supports Windows and Andriod (Sorry, Mac Users) and also has a portable version that you can throw on a thumb drive and test machines at will without having to install it every time. You can change quite a few settings in the config.ini file to customize your version, like font size, color, and disabling/enabling certain reports. There are also a few parameters ou can change when running the program, for exmple using -txt=filename with launch CPU-Z in' ghost mode. Meaning it will not load the interface and dump the report to a text file for you. So be sure to read the read.me file after you download.
