MSBlast worm can also be found by the name of Blaster/W32.Blaster which started spreading August, last year. Many corporations already patched their stations against the worm, but there are still home users that have the virus and spread it to others. Besides the obvious reason of releasing this tool, Microsoft also addresses ISP's that complain about the large traffic the worm generates.
