SmartFix is a freeware application that automatically fixes the most common problems and even cures your computer of unknown malware and viruses that weren't previously found or detected.
On startup, you are given the choice of integrating into System Recovery (F8), performing a full recovery of network settings, restarting, and links to direct download AutoRuns, AdwCleaner, and CureIt if needed. A few other tool links could be useful here. However, most techs would already have these tools.
While SmartFix is portable, there isn't any way to revert your settings, most importantly, to remove System Recovery integration should you change your mind. The link added to the Start Menu would have to be manually deleted because it's merely a shortcut to the portable application.
Performing a full recovery of network settings gives you no options. It runs very quickly and restarts, so that's a leap of faith, not knowing what it does. In our tests, we had no issues with it.
SmartFix is a niche tool for removing the most stubborn malware and restoring lost network settings. It can use a few tweaks still, but it's off to a good start.
Consider using Malwarebytes for complete antivirus protection and to protect your devices, data, and privacy.
