MBRCheck checks the legitimacy of the Master Boot Record (MBR) code of the hard drives on the computer by obtaining their SHA-1 hash values (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SHA-1).

Similar to MD5 hash, but not the same.

It will report both legitimate and unknown/Non-Standard SHA-1 hash values.
